For all other levels of language learning, we specialise in private 1:1 and 2:1 language classes on Zoom and Skype. We used to offer group classes but here’s what we found:
- If students were unable to make the weekly class, they’d fall behind and even with the best will in the world, lose momentum. Our private Spanish classes are completely flexible if you need to change the day for any reason or have a week or two off (we understand life gets in the way sometimes!)
- Group courses are challenging if your pace is different to that of other students in the class. Our 1:1 classes move at your pace because we all have different learning styles and respond differently to absorbing information. It’s your time so you can ask and study anything you want!
- The class content can often be generic in group classes. With us, classes are tailored to focus on what you want and need to learn, which means that you learn what you’re genuinely interested in.
We think group classes certainly have a place in language learning (we even have students who attend group classes and top-up their learning with us), it’s just that we choose to specialise in private classes. We do also offer 2:1 classes for families, siblings, partners, friends etc.
