To make the most of your learning experience, make sure you're:
- Using a decent laptop or PC with one of the following operating systems: Windows 7 (or above), Linux (Ubuntu 13.04 above) or Mac OS X (10.9 or above). We don't recommend learning on a tablet or smartphone!
- Have a built-in or external webcam
- Have decent headphones with microphone
- Have a wifi connection with a minimum speed of 1 Mbps.
You can download Skype and Zoom on your desktop. You can also access both applications on the web browser although we don't recommend this. If you need to for any reason, make sure you're using the latest versions of Google Chrome or Firefox browsers.
You don’t need to spend a lot of money on equipment and this will make a big difference to the quality of your lessons. We recommend finding a quiet place to learn with good lighting and access to power supply in case your battery runs low. Have your textbooks and folders on your desk and a drink to keep hydrated.
